WestWater developed and implemented and compensatory Wetland Mitigation Plan for Rio Blanco County, CO to offset 0.428 acre of unavoidable wetland impacts associated with the county’s State Highway 13 off-highway vehicle trail project.

WestWater worked with the county and the USACE to implement avoidance and minimization measures, select the most favorable compensatory mitigation site, design the mitigation proposal, implement the plan, and monitor for wetland rehabilitation success.
