Camp Kiwanis – Ultra Membrane Filtration Water Treatment Plant, 2007

WestWater Engineering designed a new ultra membrane filtration system to provide the required log removal of Giardia and Cryptosporidium with approval from CDPHE.

As a part of the design, filter backwash water is collected and treated in a settling basin and disposed of through a subsurface absorption system, referred to as an EPA Class V Injection Well, that was also approved as a part of the project.
